Amsterdam, Joan & Cornelis Blaeu, 1638. Folio (ca. 41 x 28 cm). With 18 engraved plates (1 frontispiece, 14 double page, and 3 folding), a woodcut coat-of-arms of the city of Amsterdam on the title-page, and two decorated woodcut initials.  Contemporary gold-tooled vellum, sewn on 5 supports laced through the joints, with the coat-of-arms of Amsterdam in the centre of both boards, set in a double fillet frame with flowers in the corners, the manuscript title on the spine, green closing ties.
