With main title in an elaborate ornamental frame made from 4 woodblocks, with numerous figures, beasts, etc.; the Aesop part-title in an ornamental frame 4 different woodblock, with musicians, animals, etc.; 2 drop-titles; and 5 decorated woodcut initials. Set in roman type with authors' names in rotunda gothic type in the margins of the dedication.
Limp sheepskin parchment (ca. 1652), stitched, with manuscript spine title: [Cato,] Disticha moralia cum an[n]otat[ione]b[us], and 2 leaves from a 1652 Leiden edition of Marcus Minucius Felix as endpapers. [63 of 64] ll. Full description
